Consider this our PSA: do not sleep on Trader Joe's beauty products! Sure, it has a selection of frozen dinners that are to. die. for. (Don't get us started on the macaroni and cheese.) But four bottles of Trader Joe's Rose Water Facial Toner later and we're here to tell you that the beauty aisle is where it's at.
After said $4 facial toner cleared our acne and this $4 hair mask turned us into Kate Middleton after a blowout, we couldn't wait to smother our bodies in the Trader Joe's Head to Toe moisturising Balm ($4). The label on the skin-saving product is not exaggerating when it says "everywhere in between," because it cured my dry Winter skin within seconds. It's shea-butter-based and has a thick enough consistency to bring dry skin back to life without the heavy greasiness of similar products.
Self-proclaimed traderjoespro recently reminded us about the incredible balm on Instagram, explaining that it was ideal for camping. "This works wonders on chapped lips, acts as a barrier against the wind when rubbed on your cheeks, reduces the chance of blisters where your hiking boots rub, and prevents a red nose when you have the sniffles and your tissues aren't as soft as you'd like them," the caption reads on the photo above. "Basically, a life saver whether you're camping or anywhere else!"
But that's not all; the balm is also available on Amazon, where the reviews are near-perfect. "This balm is the bomb.com. You will love it if you are super dry," one shopper wrote, adding that she used it on her face, legs, arms, and elbows. "Works amazing for keeping my skin moisturised under my beard. I have psoriasis on my face and this does wonders. Cannot say enough good things about it . . . and it smells great," another added. One woman even praised the balm as "a magic formula." Other reviews say it works well for eczema, overwashed hands, flyaway hairs, and even cracked lips.
Now we just have one question: is it too aggressive to clean out our shelf full of products and fill it up with an endless supply of the Head to Toe moisturising Balm? Asking for a friend, of course.
