Victoria Pendleton's Beauty Picks

Olympic Champion Victoria Pendleton Shares Beauty Tips Fit For a Gold Medal

Victoria Pendleton scored her first beauty campaign as Pantene Pro-V Smooth & Sleek ambassador ahead of the 2012 Olympics, and now the gold medal cyclist has dish out advice on the must have products for sportswomen. She told Vogue UK that Max Factor Waterproof Mascara (£8.99) is "very important", as is a concealer like Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat (£25) or ByTerry Touche Veloutee (£35). Victoria also relies on Lucas Papaw Ointment (£5.40), saying: "When I'm stressed out, I tend to get really dry lips from chewing on them, biting on them, stressing out. Especially in the Velodrome, there's a really dry atmosphere."

When it comes to haircare, unsurprisingly Victoria says her favourite product is Pantene 24 Frizz Fighter (£4.69) "because it's kind of like a serum, it keeps down all the stray, loose pieces of hair, which is quite important because it can get a bit frizzy with all the humidity and sweating." The gold medalist also loves Elemis' Papaya Enzyme Peel (£28.60). Shop Victoria's picks below and tell me if your cosmetics cupboard has been influence by the Olympians' choices!
