Wet n Wild Is Donating Portions of Its New Mascara Proceeds to the CUTEST Cause

Wet n Wild is no stranger to helping out animal-rights causes — its most recent launch, Flights of Fancy [1], debuted in stores alongside the brand's $10,000 donation to the bird-protecting Los Angeles Audubon Society [2]. Back then, Senior Vice President of Marketing Evelyn Wang told POPSUGAR, "As an animal-loving brand, we feel a lot of compassion for our furry and feathered friends." Now, the vegan drugstore label is back with another charitable cause — and it may be the cutest ever.

To celebrate the launch of its Lash Renegade Mascara in Avenging Amethyst [3] ($6), Wet n Wild is donating $1 for each Lash Renegade Mascara sold (up to $10,000) to the wildlife rehabilitation Wands for Wildlife [4]. Here's the kicker — this organisation collects old mascara applicators to groom the fur and feathers of little critters. This removes fly eggs and tiny insects, and cleans their glorious manes.

The Avenging Amethyst Mascara is out now on Wet n Wild's website [5], and it will expand into drugstores on June 1. If you purchase on the site, you'll get a prepaid label for mailing old wands back to get in on this creature-cleaning mission.
