Celebrities who take on beauty endorsements, have the potential to rake in oodles of money for allowing their pretty faces, bodies and hair to take centre stage. Five years ago it was all about models as spokeswomen, but now, leading ladies are just as interested...and they are just as desirable to model for the mass market. WWD has solicited three experts to weigh in with their opinions. Charles DeCaro, Creative Director of Laspata DeCaro, David Wolfe, Creative Director of The Doneger Group, and Neil Kraft, President of KraftWorks talk about seven of the most eligible beauties in Hollywood.
In their opinion, Jennifer Aniston would be best suited for hair products, Angelina Jolie for fragrance, Amy Adams for skincare and/or cosmetics, Sandra Bullock for skincare, January Jones for mass market cosmetics and Taylor Swift for fragrance whilst they feel Rachel Bilson isn't well known enough to carry a brand on her own. What are your thoughts on this topic and who do you most want to see appear in beauty ads?
