Best Nail Art Trends For Autumn 2021 According to Top Salon

Three of Our Favourite 2021 Autumn Nail Art Ideas Created by a Top London Salon

The best part about autumn is the nail art, and I won't hear any different. OK OK, the cosy jumpers and warm decadent perfumes are pretty great, too, but there's nothing better than pulling out the pumpkin spice nail polish shades and creating some tiny art on our fingertips. Luckily, to give you all of the inspiration you need, our friends at Snail and Hare salon in London rounded up the top three nail art trends that you're going to see all over Instagram this season.

With bespoke nail art being Snail and Hare's most requested offering at the salon, the techs are always on top of what's both trendy and unique. For autumn, the manicurists took inspiration from autumn/winter 2021 fashion week with layering shades of green, blue, and brown. This transitional season in the salon, abstract nail designs with similar colour palettes, and contrasts between shiny and matte finishes are the most popular.

Get a look at three of our favourite autumn 2021 nail art designs created by Snail and Hare salon.

Leopard Print Skittles

This leopard-print design combines our two favourite trends: animal print and Skittles. With each nail different in colour but tying into traditional autumnal hues, this design is ideal for the transitional weather. The shades used are from The Gel Bottle (as are all of the polishes used by Snail and Hare) in Chocolate, Call, Retro, and Avant-Garde.

The Tuxedo French

The french manicure isn't going anywhere any time soon, and we're absolutely loving all of the creative takes on the traditional design. Snail and Hare's tuxedo french has got to be one of our favourites. This design features a tiny angled black tip (using shade Before the Storm) and a mirrored white line (using shade Daisy) at the base of the nail. Autumn manicures don't come much chicer than this.

Autumnal Strokes

Playing with texture is another great way to switch up your nail art. This autumnal strokes design incorporates four shades (Fall, Avante-Garde, Strike a Pose, and Retro) as well as a matte top coat and gold foil — all while in keeping with a minimalistic feel. If you're tempted to give one of these designs a try at home, the brushstoke technique in this design makes it fun (and a little easier) to re-create.
