Baby Yoda is quite possibly the best thing to happen in 2019 [1]. Thankfully, our favourite character from The Mandalorian (who's actual name is The Child) is going nowhere in 2020. Because, in news we all absolutely needed, Baby Yoda beauty products may be coming.
Popular site Inside the Magic [2], dedicated to all things Disney, noticed that Lucasfilm recently filed for not one, not two, but 28 (yes, 28!) trademark applications. Now, as much as we're into Baby Yoda-themed clothing, bakeware, and textile products, there's one particular category that we're losing our damn minds about: Baby Yoda cosmetics. "Non-medicated cosmetics, non-medicated dentifrices; non-medicated toiletry preparations, fragrances, and perfumes," were all listed within the cosmetics application section.
Although we're incredibly excited about the thought of incorporating Baby Yoda into our beauty regimen (Baby Yoda makeup brushes, anyone?), there's been no formal announcement with dates or confirmation that the products will definitely be created. But it's 2020, and we're feeling optimistic, so, Lucasfilm, don't let us down.
