All the Beauty Brands That Have Temporarily Closed Due to the Coronavirus So Far

On March 12, Glossier announced that it would be closing its retail locations in New York City, Los Angeles, London, and Atlanta for two weeks. The brand has also postponed the grand opening of its newest location, which was supposed to open in Arizona on March 18.

Lush made the decision to close all 258 of its retail locations in the US and Canada from March 16-29. The bath and body brand also promised that all employees would receive regular pay for the time they'd be taking off.

Deciem, the parent company to brands like The Ordinary and Niod, didn't announce any further details on when its stores should be expected to reopen, but it did ensure that all employees will be paid for their time as normal.

Facegym is temporarily closing by end of day Wednesday March 18th until further notice. In an email statement, the company is aiming to fast track a "virtual exercise platform FACEGYM FREESTYLE a series of fun facial exercise routines you can do at home using your hands and our tools, allowing us all to continue working out those forgotten 40 muscles!"

The Body Shop has made the decision to close its stores across the UK ensuring the safety and wellbeing of both the staff and customers.

Harrods has closed its doors for the first time in 170 years. The store will be closed for customers until further notice, excluding food halls and the pharmacy where they'll continue to serve fresh groceries and essential medicines.
