If you were inspired by that silver dress Rihanna wore to the CFDA Awards in 2014, well, so was she. The Diamond Bomb All-Over Diamond Veil ($38) comes in a unique jelly-powder formula that goes on easy and then shines bright like a diamond for hours to come.

The best thing about the Fairy Bomb Shimmer Powder ($28) is that it comes in a powder pot. A little goes a long way, and this makes it easier to control just how shimmery you want to be that day. The second best thing would be the fact that there are currently three metallic shades — a rose gold, a copper, and a gold — to best complement different undertones, with the promise of a hypermetallic gold Trophy Wife entering the scene soon.

Now we're not saying this will physically transport you to the islands, but we're also not saying it can't get your mind pretty darn close. The Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer ($30) brings a warm glow to your cheeks as if you were just lounging on a beach chair with a daiquiri . . . even if you're actually sitting on a desk chair with a cup of coffee.

You're channelling Rihanna and you're ready to Pour It Up . . . but how about you just pour a little out instead? This Mini Body Lava Body Luminiser ($24) is small enough to go where you go and glow where you go. Who Needs Clothes?! (That's the colour, not a personal opinion.) But if you are into something different, there are options in a larger size ($59) in two other shades, too.

We picked this Pro Filt'r Mini Instant Retouch Primer ($16) because it's easy to stash in a bag. There's a full-size option that we also love, but this is the one to grab when you need to be ready in like "FourFiveSeconds" before you're out the door.

With 320,000 hearts, 2,000 reviews, and 24 colours, it's safe to say we're not the only ones who are huge fans of the Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick ($18). They're longwearing and colour intense, so if it's a Candy Venom (electric pink) kind of morning, it's still a Candy Venom kind of evening, too.

Once again, our girl Rihanna is looking out for us. For those moments when you feel a shine coming on, grab this Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Setting Powder ($18-$32). It can help blur the look of pores like an Instagram filter, without the actual Instagram filter.

This deep burgundy is a limited-edition hue in a mini size only, but boy do we want this lipstick to stay. The Lil Stunna Mini Longwear Fluid Lip Colour ($15) makes a sweet stocking stuffer — but why not go nuts and pick up a larger one ($24) in a different colour as well?

Thankfully, the retractable Brow MVP Ultrafine Brow Pencil and Styler ($20) is waterproof and smudge-resistant (because not only does rain happen, sleeves also inevitably come too close for comfort to our faces). No one wants to be on a bad streak so, once again, Rihanna's looking out for us. One highlight of this pencil — OK, two since we need to mention its paddle brush end for blending — is that the range also includes redheads who can often be left out of the brow colour game and are forced to pick something closer to blonde or brown instead.

If Bomb Baby was the hot debut, the Bomb Baby 2 Mini Lip Gloss and Highlighter Set ($24) is definitely no sophomore slump. We especially like this set not only because the highlighter has a slightly rose gold tone, but also because the small sizes are even easier to slip into a bag.

Was Rihanna really being sneaky with this Invisimatte Blotting Paper ($16)? The paper is made of natural botanical fibres and comes in a lipstick-sized tube that can fit in a purse, and said roll of papers easily be custom cut if you need to, uh, blot something big or small as you roll around town.
