The Best New Beauty Products That Launched in the UK This Month

29/05/2020 - 11:40 AM

In recent years, the beauty industry has grown exponentially, with new launches, lines, and collaborations coming at us in rapid succession. Every casual scroll through your Instagram feed presents you with new beauty products being revealed, and let's not even get started with all those targeted ads you never asked to see. So how do you keep track of all of the beauty newness going on? And more specifically, how do you know which items you can buy in the UK (without paying exorbitant shipping fees, that is)? Well, that's where we come in. Every month, we round up the most exciting launches coming to the UK, from classic brands to indie newcomers [1] and all creams, sprays, and conditioners in between.

May 2020 is not like every other month, however. We are into our second month in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic [2], with most of us self-isolating at home with our families or flatmates [3]. Top of mind is how to stay healthy and keep our NHS workers safe [4], how to entertain and educate our kids [5] whilst they're out of nursery or school, how to keep our bodies active [6] and strong while stuck inside, and how to manage our stress and anxiety [7] during these scary times. The last thing we're thinking about is what beauty products we can buy.

But for some people, beauty (and, by extension, beauty products) may act as a distraction or a way to maintain some semblance of normalcy (a phenomenon known as the "lipstick effect" [8]). And many brands — in addition to donating products to NHS workers [9] and using their production lines to make hand sanitiser [10] — are continuing to try to roll out new products for anyone who is interested or has the ability to buy. So keep reading to check out the newness — even if it's just to do some virtual window shopping from your living room.

Elemis x Olivia Rubin Women's Luxury Traveller

For May, British skin-care brand Elemis partnered with London-based fashion designer Olivia Rubin to create a delightful skin-care kit that's sure to put a smile on your face (just look at that gorgeous bag!). The Elemis x Olivia Rubin Women's Luxury Traveller [11] (£68) includes seven Elemis products — the Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Wash, Superfood Kefir-Tea Mist, Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads, Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream-Oil, Peptide4 Plumping Pillow Facial, and Sea Lavender & Samphire Body Cream — all tucked away in a cheery, rainbow-striped travel case that you'll cherish long after you've emptied out all the products inside.

BYBI Acid Gold AHA Resurfacing Face Mask

The newest launch from British beauty brand BYBI is the Bybi Acid Gold AHA Resurfacing Face Mask [12] (£20). The exfoliating mask is packed full with natural alpha hydroxy acids, including pumpkin enzyme (which is a by-product that would otherwise be thrown away) that helps to get rid of any dead cells on the surface of your skin, brightening tone and improving texture in the process.

U Beauty Resurfacing Compound

When U Beauty Resurfacing Compound [13] (£85-£215) launched in the States, it sold out every time a retailer got new stock. And on 1 May, it finally arrives in the UK. Created by Tina Craig (of @bagsnob fame), this serum promises to streamline your skin-care routine to just four products (cleanser, compound, moisturiser, and SPF) as it basically contains everything you need: antioxidants, alpha hydroxy acids, peptides, hyaluronic acids, retinol (retinol palmitate, to be exact), and vitamins C and E in one completely recyclable tube.

How does it contain all of that without burning off your face? Craig worked closely with cosmetic chemists in Italy to develop a proprietary molecule — which the brand calls SIRENS — that attracts the free radicals in your skin like magnets. Once the free radicals penetrate the SIRENS capsule, all of those ingredients listed above are released into your skin. And with free radicals out of the way, they can neither damage your skin cells, nor can they react with the ingredients in the compound — which is what can cause adverse reactions in people's skin when using products loaded with active ingredients. After seven to 10 days of continued use, the brand promises your skin will be firmer, your pores will look smaller, and your redness will be greatly reduced.

Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Oil-Infused Serum

Fresh's Rose Mask and Rose Toner are favourites amongst beauty editors (and have been for a long time), so we can't wait to try the new Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Oil-Infused Serum [14] (£52). The hybrid hydrator is a biphase product — there's the water phase, which is made up of rose water and rose extract, and there's the oil phase, which includes rose flower, rose hip, camelina, and squalane oils — which means you need to shake the bottle before you apply it. "With its two phases, water and oil work together to effectively deliver deep hydration and nourishment," founder Lev Glazman explained in a press release for the launch. "The oils were specifically selected to mix effortlessly without leaving a greasy finish. It's the fastest way to instantly dewy skin."

Caudalie Vinoperfect Dark Spot Correcting Moisturizer

Inspired by the brand's incredibly popular Dark Spot Correcting Serum (which has been a bestseller for nearly 15 years), the Caudalie Vinoperfect Dark Spot Correcting Moisturizer [15] (£34) promises the same brightening effects. Meant to be used after the serum, the cream gives your skin an immediate glow upon application, but because it contains niacinamide and the brand's Viniferine ingredient (which helps fade dark spots), it also helps to even out your skin tone over time.

Typology Dry Skin Serum

A vegan, cruelty-free, ethically-sourced, B-Corp brand that is made in France, Typology is the newest buzzy skincare to land in the UK, lauded for its affordable prices, sophisticated aesthetic, and minimal formulas that range from makeup-removing micellar water, nourishing serums, and gentle shampoo. Our favourite product in the line right now (which is a tough choice to make) is the Dry Skin Serum [16] (£12), which is 100% squalene. Mixed or pressed over the top of moisturiser at night, skin is left looking extra glowy come morning.

Starface Space Wash Foaming Facial Cleanser

From the brand that brought you Instagram-able neon and glow-in-the-dark acne patches, comes the Starface Space Wash Foaming Facial Cleanser [17] (£13). In addition to being oil free, it's also free of soap, sulphates, fragrance, and parabens. But we're also interested in what it does contain, which is white willow park acid (in place of salicylic acid), sage leaf extract (an anti-inflammatory that also controls oil production), as well as holy basil leave extract and calendula flower extract (two more anti-inflammatory ingredients).

Murad Vita-C Glycolic Brightening Serum

If dark spots or hyperpigmentation are troubling you, then you might want to try out the Murad Vita-C Glycolic Brightening Serum [18] (£72). The formula packs a one-two-punch of vitamin C and glycolic acid, the latter of which helps get rid of any dead skin cells on the surface that might impede the vitamin C from doing its job — of brightening up your skin, that is. The funky, dual-chamber tube keeps the two ingredients separated, meaning you get a fresh dose of both with each pump.

Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream

If you've got dry or dehydrated skin, may dermatologists will tell you to look for a cream that contains ceramides. Created naturally by your skin, ceramides help keep your skin's naturally barrier healthy and strong, and if they are depleted, that's when your skin can become dry, itchy, flaky, or irritated. The new Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream [19] (£60) contains ceramides in spades, as well as coconut, beetroot and red algea extracts, which simultaneously hydrate and protect the skin from free radical damage. The light, whipped texture makes it an idea summer hydrator.

Herbivore Blue Tansy Resurfacing Clarifying Mask

The Herbivore Blue Tansy Resurfacing Clarifying Mask [20] (£38) is one of the brand's best-selling products in the US, and this month, it finally comes across the pond via Cult Beauty [21]. Why's the mask so popular? The formula — using plant derived AHAs and BHAs — gently breaks down dead skin cells on the surface on your skin, while simultaneously clearing out clogged pores. The addition of blue tansy essential oil, which has anti-inflammatory properties, means you're left with skin that's clearer, smoother, and less irritated, with the added bonus of smaller-looking pores.

Vichy Minéral 89 Fortifying Instant Recovery Mask

Inspired by the brand's hyaluronic acid serums, the Vichy Minéral 89 Fortifying Instant Recovery Mask [22] (£8), also features the HA (as well as mineral water from France, which is in all of the brand's products), but packed onto a fibre sheet mask for a serious hit of hydration. It's a great way to perk up your skin if it's been considerably drier and dehydrated whilst in lockdown [23].

Dermalogica Retinol Clearing Oil

With both retinol and salicylic acid, the Dermalogica Retinol Clearing Oil [24] (£69) promises to help tackle both breakouts and premature signs of ageing, which if you're in your 30s, you know exactly what I'm talking about. The formula — meant to be applied only a night — features retinyl proprionate (a vitamin A derivative that's milder and more stable than retinol) and salicylic acid suspended in an oil base. While it might not seem it, the oil is what's important here, as the combination of argan, rosehip, and golden jojoba oils was carefully developed to mimic skin's own natural oil production, which they've found not only leads to less breakouts, but also keeps skin soothed and happy, even as the retinyl proprionate is hard at work boosting cell turnover.

Malin + Goetz Resurfacing Face Serum

The Malin + Goetz Resurfacing Face Serum [25] (£58) is fully loaded with top-notch brightening and exfoliating ingredients to help leave your skin smoother, your pores clearer, and your complexion more even in tone. It contains six percent glycolic acid, two percent lactic acid, and two percent ascorbic acid (vitamin C), as well as niacinamide and phytic acid, so sensitive skin types may want to skip out on this one. For everyone else, this formula will definitely hold you over until you can get in for a facial once spas and clinics reopen.

Tata Harper Water-Lock Moisturizer

Tata Harper Water-Lock Moisturizer (£59) is a newbie from the brand, formulated with 19 botanical ingredients in addition to skin-loving hyaluronic acid. But the best part about it is the refill system. The packaging is broken down into three pieces — the tub, pump lid, and refill pod — so once you've used up all of the moisturiser, you simply need to repurchase a pod, rather than the entire tub and lid again. The airtight packaging also makes it 100 percent recyclable.

Darphin Hydraskin Cooling Mask

A perfect treatment for the summer months, Darphin Hydraskin Cooling Mask [26] (£34) hydrates dehydrated skin without clogging pores or leaving behind a greasy residue. And because the texture feels cooling on the skin, it will be a great face mask to calm and soothe your complexion after spending long days in the sun (whilst wearing sunscreen of course) or long evenings drinking rosé.

Sand & Sky Australian Emu Apple Enzyme Powder Polish

Prior to launch, the new Sand & Sky Australian Emu Apple Enzyme Powder Polish [27] (£45) had a 20,000-person waitlist. Spiked with fruit enzymes and vitamin C, when you mix the powder with water, it transforms into a luscious pink foam that breaks up dead skin sells on the surface of your skin, leaving your face brighter, smoother, and very, very glowy. It will be a great one to use before putting on your makeup, as we predict it makes foundation go on like a dream.

111Skin Y-Theorem Bio Cellulose Face Mask

This month, 111Skin debuts an upgrade of their fan-favourite Bio Cellulose mask that we've heard someone once hilariously (albeit accurately) describe as "the Bentley of face masks". The 111Skin Y-Theorem Bio Cellulose Face Mask [28] (£20 for single sachet).

So what's different? It still promising to combat dryness, dehydration, and irritation. Now, however, it contains additional ingredients to also help strengthen stressed-out skin; ingredients like NAC Y2, a molecule that boosts antioxidant production in your skin, and a sensamone, a peptide that calms sensitive skin and reduces irritation to an even greater degree than before.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer

One of Charlotte Tilbury's [29] very first launches, the Filmstar Bronze & Glow Contour Duo, has long been a makeup artist and beauty editor favourite. The only downside? It comes in just two shades. That's why Tilbury finally introduces Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer [30] (£39)

As part of the Airbrush family, the Bronzer contains the same pore-blurring, micro-fine perfecting powders as the original Airbrush finishing powder. The bronzer also features hyaluronic acid powder (yes, that exists, and Tilbury believes this may be the first instance of it being in a pressed powder), coconut oil, soft-focus silica, and mica, all of which contribute to the powders incredibly silky, buildable texture. "It doesn't sit on skin like a powder," she explained during the launch event.

The powder comes in four shades — 1 Fair, 2 Medium, 3 Tan, and 4 Deep — that Tilbury and her team made sure to thoroughly test on a wide variety of skin tones. "So many bronzers look too orange or too muddy, especially on deep skin tones," said Tilbury. "I want it to look like the sun is on your skin while you're wearing it — like sunshine in a bottle."

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour Under the Blazing Sun Collection

Laura Mercier's summer 2020 collection is titled "Under the Blazing Sun" and features makeup items in warm shades of bronze, copper, and terracotta. Our favourite items in the range are the three limited-edition Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour [31] (£25 each) shades: Desert Sand (a bright metallic copper, shown here), Beaming (a vibrant yellow gold), and Heat (a reddened plum).

MZ Skin Tint & Protect

When Dr Maryam Zamani first launched the MZ Skin Tint & Protect [32] (£95), it sold out almost immediately. It's taken a while for the brand to restock, but now it's back (on 12 May, to be exact) and better than ever, as it got a reformulation in the process.

What makes it so good? The fact that in one tube, you've got your moisturiser (with a laundry list of quality ingredients like vitamin C and hyaluronic acid), your SPF 30, and a sheer tint that evens out and perks up your complexion (if your skin tone falls in the light to medium range). On busy mornings, you can simply smooth this over your face and you know you're fully hydrated, protected, and glowing in one go.

Il Makiage Woke Up Like This Foundation

This month, makeup brand Il Makiage comes to the UK — after two years of disrupting the digital beauty space in the United States. Launched in 2018, the brand is solely sold online and has became best known for their foundation — the Il Makiage Woke Up Like This Foundation [33] (£36), which comes in 50 shades, has sold out five times since it launched, and has accumulated over 90,000 reviews, which the brand claims makes it most-reviewed beauty product online in the US.

But it's not just the huge shade range and numerous reviews that have people excited. It's the fact that, even though you can only get it online, the brand has created an algorithm that helps you find your perfect shade without having to test it out in person. The PowerMatch quiz [34]takes 90 seconds to fill out and according to brand's co-founder, Oran Holtzman, has a 94% success rate when it comes to clients finding a perfect shade. The algorithm/quiz gets smarter the more people use it, and with 10 million users having already taken it in the US, and beauty retail shops closed all over the world, we're gonna bet your chances of finding your perfect match is quite high.

La Mer Perfecting Primer

A layer of the new La Mer Perfecting Primer [35] (£70) underneath your foundation and/or concealer will not only keep your base makeup in place for the day, but it will also smooth out any uneven texture (whether that's fine lines or acne scarring), calm down any redness, and give your skin a soft, natural-looking glow. And because it's infused with the brand's proprietary "Miracle Broth" complex, it keeps skin plump and hydrated, too, making it an ideal option for either mature or dehydrated skin.

Nuxe Very Rose 3-in-1 Soothing Micellar Water

Nuxe has turned from honey to roses with their latest skin-care range. The new Very Rose collection includes a toning mist, a peeling lotion, and a variety of different cleansers and makeup removers. We can't wait to try the Nuxe Very Rose 3-in-1 Soothing Micellar Water [36] (£15), a gentle-yet-effective makeup remover that's been formulated for all skin types, even sensitive ones.

Huda Beauty Legit Lashes Mascara

It's been four years in the making but the Huda Beauty Legit Lashes Mascara [37] (£24) — the brand's first and only mascara – is finally here. The dual-sided tube features two different wands and two different formulas: Length & Curl on one side (that's the cured brush) and Volume on the other (that's the hourglass-shaped wand). Wear each formula on it's own or layer them together (we tried layering [38] the Volume side over the Length & Curl side and our lashes were so long and full, they practically looked fake). Huda Kattan launched her brand with false lashes, so her mascara had a lot to live up to, and we're here to tell you it doesn't disappoint.

Huda Beauty Diamond Balm

One could argue that diamonds and lip balm are a girl's best friends, and Huda Beauty's newest launch combines both into one dreamy tube. The Huda Beauty Diamond Balm [39] (£22) is a range of superhydrating tinted lip balms that are infused with very-finely milled shimmer — so finely milled that they're meant to twinkle like diamonds on your lips. Available in six shades, the colours range a soft, subtle lilac hue with gold shimmer (Dirty Thoughts, shown here), to a deep reddish-purple with pink-and-blue glitter (Femme Fatale). As for Huda Kattan's favourite hue? That would be Negligee, a sheer beige-brown with gold glitter speckled throughout.

Sisley Le Phyto-Gloss

For May, Sisley introduced a brand-new lip-gloss formula called the Sisley Le Phyto-Gloss [40] (£39). Available in 10 shades and two finishes (Pure Shine and Shimmery Shine), not only does the formula impart high-octane pigment and shine, but it also contains moisturising ingredients like hyaluronic acid, macadamia oil, shea butter, and vitamin E, which help keep your lips soft and protected underneath as you wear it.

Trinny London Lip Glow in Indi

This month, Trinny London adds a new Lip Glow hue, bringing the fan-favourite lip gloss range to eight shades. Trinny London Lip Glow in Indi [41] (£16) is a sheer, vibrant fuchsia — one layer gives lips a glossy tint of pink, and the more you add, the more opaque it becomes. You can apply with either your finger or a brush, the latter will give it a more pigmented finish.

Ciaté Disco Nap Lip Mask

You don't have to save the new Ciaté Disco Nap Lip Mask [42] (£16) before bed or a big night out (although, the ultra-nourishing formula work wonders if you apply a thick layer before bed when your lips are really dry and chapped). Ciaté Disco Nap is great every-day lip balm to keep stashed at your desk or in your bag, as the formula (made up of hyaluronic acid, shea butter, and avocado argan oil) is rich enough to hydrate, but not so rich that it leaves your lips sticky and goopy.

Victoria Beckham Beauty Satin Kajal Liner in Cocoa

When Victoria Beckham [43] launched her much-anticipated makeup line, she started things off with her Smoky Eye Wardrobe [44], a selection of shadows, liners, and palettes to help you re-create the designer's signature smoky eyes. This month, she adds a new shade of liner to the mix, the Victoria Beckham Beauty Satin Kajal Liner in Cocoa [45] (£20), a deep matte brown shade to round out the collection, which already has a matte black, matte burgundy, and shimmery bronze hue. It's the makeup equivalent of a pair of Beckham's perfectly tailored trousers, sure to become a staple in your makeup bag for years to come.

Stila Road Less Traveled Eye Shadow Palette

Whether it's cream, liquid, or powder, Stila does shimmer eyeshadow well, and with the new Stila Road Less Traveled Eye Shadow Palette [46] (£32) (part of the brand's Summer 2020 collection), you get six twinkly shadows along with two matte ones. We love the unique selection of greens, golds, and pinks, which — along with a glittering gold and bronze — can be combined and layered to create a multitude of unexpected summery makeup looks.

Nars Matte Bronzing Powder in Vallarta

Nars's new Bronzing Collection includes new shades, new packaging, and a new matte bronzer formula for those of us who want to warm up our skin tone minus the shimmer. The Nars Matte Bronzing Powder [47] (£30) comes in two new hues — Vallarta (a light tan, shown here) and Samoa (a deep golden brown) — and in Laguna, the brand's iconic warm brown bronzer beloved by makeup artists for years. Dust the silky powder over cheeks, chin, forehead, and across your nose and you'll have a gorgeous, sun-kissed glow — minus the sun or even having to step outside.

Max Factor Miracle Second Skin

Legendary makeup artist Wendy Rowe (who is creative director for Max Factor) worked with the brand for over a year to create the new Max Factor Miracle Second Skin [48] (£13). A skin-care/makeup hybrid, it's like the 2020 version of a BB cream — so elegant, smarter, and a lot more luxurious. "It gives the perfect amount of coverage to even out skin tone and cover imperfections, without being heavy or cakey," Rowe said in a press release for the launch. "It leaves a natural, second-skin finish. It's flexible, buildable, and it makes you feel incredible." And because it's also infused with coconut milk and both pre- and probiotics, it'll help keep the skin underneath it feeling incredible, too.

Becca Cosmetics Limited Edition Own Your Light Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed

Becca Cosmetics' Shimmering Skin Perfector is hands down one of the best highlighters on the market, and this month, it's introduced a new limited-edition hue that also highlights a good cause. The Becca Cosmetics Own Your Light Shimmering Skin Perfector [49] (£30) is a warm gold powder with both peach and pink pigments, which means it will pretty much look good on anyone who tries it (as it works on both warm- and cool-toned complexions).

The limited-edition launch is also meant to celebrate the brand's partnership with Mental Health Mates [50], an organisation founded by author and mental-wellness advocate Bryony Gordon. Started in 2016, Mental Health Mates is a network of support groups run by people with mental health issues to help facilitate peer connections "so that everyone can find their 'we.'"

Dr. Hauschka Eyeshadows

If you've been looking for organic eye shadows to add to your collection, then you may be in luck this month. Dr. Hauschka – the natural skin-care and cosmetics brand — has added five new eye shadow shades to the makeup range. Inspired by "shades seen in nature," the new Dr. Haushka Eyeshadow [51] (£13.50 each) hues are all superwearable. There's Aquamarine (a greyish-blue, shown here), Verdelite (a forest green), White Opal (a soft champagne), Golden Topez (a shimmering taupe), and Smoky Quartz (a shimmering greige).

E.L.F Putty Eye Primer

If you're obsessed with the bestselling E.L.F Putty Primer (which has been described as a less-expensive dupe for Tatcha's Silk Canvas Primer), you're almost certainly going to love the new E.L.F Putty Eye Primer [52] (£5). This inexpensive little guy comes in six shades and promises to not only extend your eyeshadow wear for up to 12 hours but also intensify the colour of your eyeshadow — making brights brighter and shimmers more shimmery.

Bobbi Brown Highlighter in Warm Glow

Bobbi Brown launches its limited-edition Summer Glow makeup collection on 7 May. It includes a bronzer-blusher duo, two gold-flecked lip glosses, dual-ended cream shadow sticks, and the Bobbi Brown Highlighter in Warm Glow [53] (£36). The brand's shimmering bricks have been bestsellers for over a decade, and we can't wait to give this new soft gold version a go.

Zoeva Authentik Skin Finishing Powder

Available in six shades, the Zoeva Authentik Skin Finishing Powder [54] (£20.50) does everything a good powder should do: it absorbs oil, it keeps you from looking shiny, and it sets your makeup in place for the day. But thanks to the addition of crushed up crystals in the formula, it also leaves your skin looking radiant and glowy, while the mesh covering over the loose powder not only keeps it from exploding inside your makeup bag, but ensures powder particles don't go spilling all over your sink every time you dip your brush into it.

Tweezerman 40th Anniversary Slant Tweezers

Tweezerman celebrates their 40th anniversary with a sparkly limited-edition version of their iconic Tweezerman Slant Tweezers [55] (£23), so if you're in the market for a new one, consider picking up this snazzy pair. Take it from us (and every makeup artist around), when it comes to tweezers, nothing beats these precision and ease of these.

Monat Unknot Detangler

Monat Unknot Detangler [56] (£30) is the newest product from brand's extensive haircare range. This lightweight formula will make knots and painful attempts at brushing them out a thing of the past. Not only does it help get rid of knots in your hair (which in turn reduces any breakage), but it also aims to provide hydration and frizz-control at the same time. It can be used on both wet and dry hair for the ultimate detangler and leave-in conditioner in one.

& Other Stories Perle de Coco Glow Body Lotion

& Other Stories took its popular Perle de Coco body range and spiked it with a dose of shimmer. The limited-edition & Other Stories Perle de Coco Glow Body Lotion [57] (£11) features the same delicious summery scent (coconut, vanilla, and caramel) but leaves skin glistening and glimmery thanks to the faintest hint of finely milled shimmer added to the formula. The range features a body scrub and hair fragrance, too.

Vaseline Intensive Care Hand Cream + Anti-Bac

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Vaseline relaunched its Vaseline Intensive Care Hand Cream + Anti-Bac [58] (£4). It's formulated with all the hydrating ingredients found in other Vaseline hand creams, but with the addition of antibacterial ones as well. Its lightweight gel-cream texture dries into the hands quickly and leaves a clean yet not overpowering scent. Although, it's important to note that this is not a substitute for proper handwashing or using hand sanitising gel [59].

Augustinus Bader The Hand Treatment

If the new Augustinus Bader The Hand Treatment [60] (£40) can do for our hands what the brand's best-selling The Cream can do for our face, then sign us up! (Literally, right now the product is only available for pre-order.) The hydrating formula contains white peony extract and vitamin E (antioxidants that protect against free radical damage), honey (that has both moisturising and antimicrobial properties), as well as the brand's proprietary TCF-8 technology, which is made up of around 40 different ingredients (like peptides and vitamins) that the brand claims helps jolt the skin cells into reparative mode, resulting is stronger, bouncier, more supple looking skin.

In addition to the new hand cream, this month the brand has also manufactured 60,000 units of hand sanitiser, all of which will be donated. The first 20,000 will go to frontline workers, hospitals, and care homes. "With the ethos of Augustinus Bader built upon a mission to help and heal others, we are proud to be able to give this considered, reactive donation to those fighting the COVID-19 virus, says Charles Rosier, co-founder of the brand.

Tan-Luxe Super Glow Body

Last summer, Tan-Luxe introduced its innovative Tan-Luxe Super Glow Hyaluronic Self-Tan Serum [61], which is a moisturising skin-care product and gradual self-tan formula in one. Fast forward almost a year later, and the brand is now offering a body version of the fan-favourite product. Like the original, the Tan-Luxe Super Glow Body [62] (£35) contains four percent DHA (dihydroxyacetone, the active ingredient in a majority of self-tanners on the market) and hyaluronic acid, but it also adds caffeine, kale extract, and blueberry extract into the mix, as well as avocado, raspberry seed, chia seed, and coconut oils to soften skin and up the glow factor even more.

Elemental Herbology Lemongrass & Nutmeg Body Wash and Body Cream

Dress up your bathroom with the Elemental Herbology Lemongrass & Nutmeg Body Wash & Cream Duo [63] (£40). The scent, which is a blend of lemongrass, nutmeg, and black pepper is fresh, clean, and invigorating — a great way to start off your day.

Diptyque Fleur de Peau Multiuse Fragrance

If you recognise the name Diptyque Fleur de Peau Multiuse Fragrance [64] (£78) then you're right on the money. This isn't a new scent from the Paris-based fragrance brand per se, but rather an update — giving the people what they want if you will. This month, the brand re-imagined Diptyque Fleur de Peau in all of its soft, fresh, cottony goodness and turned it into a multipurpose fragrance that can be used on the skin, fabrics, clothes, or linen, and even sprayed into your laundry load. Fleur de Peau scented bed linen sounds like a dream, right?

Jo Malone Fragrance Layered Candle

Each of the new Jo Malone Fragrance Layered Candles [65] (£150 each) combines two of the brand's most-loved fragrances into one spectacular scented candle. Promising 60 hours of burn time, The Tantalasing One, which is shown here, is made up of English Pear & Freesia and Lime Basil & Mandarin and a perfect fresh, zingy option as we head into summer, while The Sensual One, which is Pomegranate Noir mingled with Peony & Blush Suede, is a luxurious, juicy floral that's great for mellowing out and beautifying your space.

Ritual The Ritual of Karma Parfum d'Interieur

Most of us are spending a lot more time in our homes, and if you're like us, you've been burning through all those candles or emptying all those room sprays that have been lying around the house untouched in attempts to scent your space. If you're finally in need of a restock, consider the new scent from Ritual, The Ritual of Karma Parfum d'Interieur [66] (£26), which includes fresh, sparkly notes like white tea and lotus to help bring the scent of summer indoors.

Maison Francis Kurkdjian Oud Satin Mood Scented Body Oil

At POPSUGAR, we love Francis Kurkdjian's unique perfumes, and this month, we've found a new way to cover ourselves in his beautiful eaus. The Maison Francis Kurkdjian Oud Satin Mood Scented Body Oil [67] (£75) features notes of Bulgarian rose, vanilla, violet, natural oud, and amber, and is made with argan, sweet almond, and apricot kernel oils — three supremely hydrating oils to leave your limbs soft and supple, in addition to smelling amazing.

Molton Brown Vetiver & Grapefruit Eau de Parfum

Don't be fooled by the dark, moody packaging. Molton Brown Vetiver & Grapefruit Eau de Parfum [68] (£110) is still a beautiful fragrance for the spring and summer months. Already in the range as an eau de toilette, body lotion, and bath and shower gel, the eau de parfum is a more intense, longer-lasting version of the citrusy-woody scent — a unique combination of zesty notes (grapefruit and mandarin), soft florals (lavender and geranium), and a woodsy base (amber, moss, and vetiver).
