If you recall last year's academy awards, the stars came to impress in the hair, nails, and makeup department, but the 2023 Oscars shaped up to be even better (as were the gift bags the nominees received). With Jimmy Kimmel as the host and a stacked list of presenters like Emily Blunt, Dwayne Johnson, Michael B. Jordan, Janelle Monáe, Cara Delevingne, and Kate Hudson, plus attendees from all of the hottest films from the last year, it was a night to remember.
After a virtual show in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 2022 saw celebrities flock to the red carpet to show off their ensembles and matching hair, makeup, and nails in person — but they were just getting warmed up.
