Is Billie Eilish entering a new era of music? Her recent hair transformation certainly suggests so. On 1 Feb., the "Happier Than Ever" singer debuted jet-black hair on Instagram, captioning the masked selfie with a simple black-square emoji. The change comes just two months after she dyed her hair a chocolate brown, following a dramatic blonde shag haircut and a brief stint as a secret redhead earlier in 2021.
Eilish previously sported black hair in 2019 — right before she added bright-green highlights and solidified her signature look — but this time, she's added micro bangs and a short bob length to her darker look. From grey to blue, the singer has worn many different hair colours throughout her career, although her natural colour is an unexpected golden blonde.
