In honour of Earth Month and Earth Day on 22 April, monthly beauty subscription box Birchbox has teamed up with Stasher, the chicer-than-chic reusable silicone food-storage bags, to create a "sustainably-conscious" box aimed at helping people reduce plastic waste in their beauty routines. And yes, I just called food-storage bags chic (can you tell I'm a Virgo?). In all seriousness, though, I've been a fan of Stasher bags for several years now. Since buying a handful of them, I've completely stopped purchasing cling film and zip-seal fridge and freezer bags, significantly reducing my reliance on single-use plastic in the kitchen.
Sold globally throughout April, the Birchbox x Stasher collection includes a variety of eco-friendly beauty products from brands that keep sustainability front of mind, whether that's by having plastic-free packaging, using ethically sourced ingredients, or making sure to give back in some way that benefits the planet or the people harvesting the raw materials.
