  • Get inspiration from your favourite celebrities for this short summer hairstyle.

If you fell in love with the "Botticelli" haircut trend, only to be disappointed that it didn't suit your short hairstyle, we have just the thing: the "Botticelli" bob.

"At the beginning of the year, we saw the trend of long, unstructured Botticelli wavy hair on celebrities like Kaia Gerber and Sophie Turner," Tom Smith, celebrity hairstylist and international colour creative director for Evo Hair, tells POPSUGAR. The style was fluffy, undone (but in an effortless, chic sort of way), and very natural looking. "This summer as weather warms, it only makes sense that we will begin to see this trend do well as it transforms into shorter hair," says Smith.

The Botticelli bob is categorised by its "elongated, stretched-out 's' waves." You can get the look with hot tools, but if you're trying to cut back on heat styling this season, Smith recommends using the oldest trick in the book: braids. "[A] simple way to get this look is separating your hair into two using a middle part and braiding your hair, leaving it overnight," he says. "Be sure to use a soft, silk scrunchie to secure the ends rather than a tight hairband to avoid unwanted kinks at the end."
