Camila Mendes Just Made Cactus Nail Art a Huge Summer Trend With Her Latest Manicure
Camila Mendes's newest film, Palm Springs, is coming to Hulu on Friday, and to celebrate the release, the star got an adorable cactus manicure. The new rom-com stars Andy Samberg alongside Mendes and takes place in none other than Palm Springs.
Mendes showed off her summer-themed nail art on her Instagram Stories, tagging her go-to manicurist Thuy Nguyen in the photos. "Palm Springs comes out on Hulu this Friday," Mendes wrote. "@thuybnguyen gave me cactus nails to celebrate."
The design featured oval tips with a light green french manicure and a tiny cactus illustration on her middle finger. As Mendes zoomed in on the cactus design, complete with tiny pink flowers at the top, you can see the intricate detailing Nguyen hand-painted.
Nguyen's celebrity clients include Vanessa Hudgens, Joey King, Cara Delevingne, and Millie Bobby Brown, just to name a few. As people start getting regular manicures again, we can't wait to see what other designs the artist comes up with.
