The Grammy award-winning rap darling shared her homemade hair mask for naturally curly, coily, kinky, and Afro-textured hair. Cardi swears by the mask for her daughter Kulture's hair, and her own, to promote healthy hair growth and curl definition.

Cardi's magical homemade hair mask includes: one mashed avocado, one fresh egg, one big scoop of mayonnaise, argan oil, olive oil, lots of black castor oil, and a touch of honey. Combining all the ingredients in a blender, Cardi pulses the mixture a few times to achieve a smooth consistency, similar to that of a deep conditioner [2], then applies the mask to freshly shampooed hair. Although she uses store bought mayonnaise and sugar-heavy honey, we recommend an affordable hair mayonnaise specifically made for Afro-textured hair and raw organic honey.

"This treatment is really good for curl patterns," Cardi says on her Instagram stories. "My hair is not curly, but my daughter's hair is curly, she has curls, or little coils. But my sh*t just don't get curly at all. It's just straight like this but I still need moisture, and it's just a good hair mask to help your hair grow. All the good things you put in your body, you put in your hair."

The Afro-Latina queen also added that "this is natural hair. This is not nappy hair. The society got us thinking this is nappy hair. This is natural, strong hair that you can stand under the sun, and you can get into a fight, and it's still going to be there."
