Cardi B is proving once again that taking risks with your makeup pays off. The rapper performed at the 2022 American Music Awards in a "washed denim" eye that almost stole the show.

"Washed denim" eye makeup is the modern, winter '22 version of the blue eyeshadow trend from the '60s. Celebrities like Quannah Chasinghorse, Adwoa Aboah, and Kendall Jenner have all been spotted in the "washed denim" trend, signalling just how popular the makeup look is going to be in the upcoming year.
