Charlotte Tilbury has had a hectic few weeks. In the UK, she finally launched her makeup brand at Space NK and threw a fabulous party to honour the occasion, inviting many of her famous friends, including Lottie Moss, Maya Jama, and none other than legendary actor Joan Collins. Next, she surprised everybody with a new Instant Eyes Palette that launched for just 24 hours. Then came London Fashion Week [1], where she created the makeup looks for Naomi Campbell [2]'s Fashion For Relief charity runway show and her niece Sofia Schwarzkopf Tilbury led the makeup teams backstage at Temperley London [3], Agent Provocateur, and Olivia Rubin. Then this week, while the fashion set was heading to Italy for Milan Fashion Week [4], Tilbury took a quick detour to Paris to fete her brand's launch in France, where she now sells exclusively at Sephora. And of course, she threw another fabulous party to celebrate.
The cocktail party took place at her House of Tilbury pop-up shop at Hotel du Duc in Paris. Guests included Tilbury's nieces, Sofia and Bella; French ingénue Adele Exarchopoulos, who is the youngest person ever to be awarded the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival; and yet another legendary actor, Catherine Deneuve. The younger Tilbury dipped into the brand-new Instant Eye Palette in Starry Eyes to Hypnotise [7] (£60) (which doesn't launch again until 3 Oct.) to create Exarchopoulos's gilded eye look and swiped Hot Lips 2 in Angel Alessandra [8] (£28) — a warm, peachy beige — over a combination of the Lip Cheats [9] in Hot Gossip and Iconic Nude (£16 each).
