I have to admit, I've never gone through such a process when applying mascara. Occasionally I'll go for a second coat, but switching brush sides multiple times is probably only something I'll do when I'm going for full glam. (You can see the before and after for yourself in the slides ahead.) Fortunately, if you're looking for a softer effect, all you have to do is use just the fibre side of the brush to apply one layer, and you're done.
The Power Flex Mascara lasted all day and kept my lashes lifted and curled without having to reapply or do any touch-ups. I also didn't notice any issues with flaking, which is one of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to eye makeup. As for removal, this product came off with my usual routine of cleansing balm and face wash, no extra steps needed — another plus for me.
While it isn't the most lengthening mascara I've tried, I do love that it has the power to give my lashes a visibility boost even without the use of an eyelash curler. Another thing to note: this formula isn't waterproof, so if you're looking for something to last you while swimming this summer, I'd reach for something else. However, I've found that it's perfect for daily wear, especially if you want to forgo the eyelash-curling step in your beauty routine.
