Dua Lipa Debuts Platinum Blonde Hair at the Grammys
No one works as fast as Dua Lipa's key hairstylist before a big award show. For the 64th Annual Grammy Awards on April 3, Chris Appleton seems to have given Lipa a major hair makeover. Case in point: the singer arrived on the red carpet with a new platinum-blonde hair colour.
With a pin-straight hairstyle and reaching down to her mid-back, the bright colour stood out against her all-black outfit with gold detailing. The only proof of her once-dark brown shade can be seen at the scalp where Appleton gave her some light shade roots.
Lipa shared an up-close, behind-the-scenes photo on her Instagram Story of the transformation process before the event, tagging Appleton. Although it's unclear if her new look comes courtesy of a wig or if he performed a speedy hair dye process — Lipa did just have brunette hair just a few short hours ago while out in Vegas where the award show is occurring — considering it wouldn't be her first foray into blonde territory, the change wouldn't be surprising.
