Dua Lipa is leaning into the '70s aesthetic. The "Levitating" singer took to Instagram last night to share a few pics from her holiday in St. Barths, where she also performed at the LuisaViaRoma x UNICEF Gala, and we couldn't help but notice a little detail: her nails.
Lipa, who is known for having fun with her nail art [2] — and who has tried everything from crystal french tips [3] to animal print designs [4] — stayed true to her signature almond shape but took a nostalgic approach with her manicure design. Using a silver-chrome base colour, the star added a textured droplet design to her nails that mimicked the globular shape of the lava inside a lava lamp. The "lava" was painted in a green multi-chrome colour that shifts magenta in different lighting, giving a Future Nostalgia spin to the design.
