Changing your hair colour is always a big decision, and with dozens of options jumping out at you every day — like "champagne pop" and "honey blond" — deciding on just one fall hair-colour transition might be a little tough. But if the internet has taught us anything, it's that there's an easier way of determining these things that don't involve much trial and error: your zodiac sign.

Your astrological sign says a lot about you: what you're like, what people might experience when they're around you, and in general, the best words that describe your personality, but we think it's also a great tool to use when determining what colour to dye your hair.

You're often characterized as organised and focussed, but you can be playful and lighthearted when you want to be. You need a warm golden blond colour like "amaretto biscotti" (sounds delicious, right?) to match your two moods: simple yet fun.

Seasons like fall usually make you feel moody, and for that reason, "black espresso," a dark brown colour that almost looks black, is the perfect colour to fit your aesthetic. Jimieson said that achieving the hue is as simple as adding "black to your medium or dark-brown base colour with foils or balayage rather than going completely solid. Ask for a demipermanent so you can change it down the road and it will be super shiny."

Leo (July 23 - Aug. 22): Champagne Pop

You're bold, dramatic, confident, and often tend to be the life of the party. You're usually able to grab everyone's attention as soon as you step into a room, so the eye-popping colour that makes the most sense for you is "champagne pop," also known as "ballerina blond." This is what you get when you add a sprinkle of pink colour to blond hair.
