This year, we may not have been able to catch a new Gigi Hadid red carpet beauty look at the Met Gala due to it being postponed, but we were able to enjoy a different kind of glam show. One that took place from home, with totally normal — but also really, really talented — people getting all dolled up to re-create iconic beauty moments on themselves [1] for the #MetGalaChallenge [2].

Hadid's beauty look for the 2019 Met Gala theme, "Camp: Notes on Fashion," was one we won't soon forget. Her head was adorned with a sequinned cap that connected to her equally glitz jumpsuit, and she had wispy, long eyelashes made from white feathers [3] that celebrity makeup artist Erin Parsons [4] individually glued on. The eye makeup alone is recognisable enough for people to build an entire look off of, and that's just what they did.
