Did I Get 8 Hours of Sleep, or Is It Glossier's Full Orbit Eye Cream?

Glossier Full Orbit

I'll be honest, I rarely get the recommended eight hours of shut-eye that I should. Prioritising my beauty sleep is something I've been working on (see: TikTok's sleepy-girl mocktail [1]), but some days, I just can't pull it off. So it's not unusual for me to see dark circles in the mirror most mornings. That being said, I've been searching for my go-to eye cream for a while. My dream formula should help brighten my undereye area and prevent wrinkles without making my existing milia [2] worse. A tall order, I know.

Admittedly, I've tried many different eye creams over the last year but haven't had much luck finding one I liked enough to repurchase. So when Glossier's newly released product came onto the scene, I was immediately intrigued. The Glossier Full Orbit [3] (£28) is an eye cream that can be used on your undereyes, eyelid, and orbital bone. The brand claims it helps to depuff, visibly brighten dark circles, and smooth the appearance of fine lines. With all that in mind, I knew I had to put the brand's latest drop to the test.

Could one eye cream seemingly address all my concerns? Keep reading for my full review of Glossier Full Orbit ahead.

Glossier Full Orbit - Before and After

What I Like About the Glossier Full Orbit

Many eye creams I've used have been too thick for my liking. When I first tried Full Orbit, I immediately noticed how lightweight and moisturising it was (a major plus for those who are prone to milia). It didn't take too long to absorb, feel heavy on my eyelid, or irritate my eyes. But the main reason this eye cream earned a permanent spot on my shelf? It made me look well-rested even when I wasn't, thanks to the brightening properties that help combat dark circles. I also really liked that I could use any excess product on my eyelid and orbital bone. I also wear contact lenses and haven't experienced any irritation.

I get nervous about using eye creams under makeup, but when I applied Full Orbit, I didn't have any issue with my concealer shifting. I looked more awake — not just because of a good concealer, but also because the eye cream kept my skin hydrated underneath.

How to Use the Glossier Full Orbit

The brand recommends dispensing a pea-size amount on your finger, then distributing the product to both ring fingers and lightly tapping under each eye, working your way from the inner corners out. You continue tapping along the orbital bone and onto the eyelid to finish.

What to Consider About the Glossier Full Orbit

While the eye cream does address some antiageing concerns, it doesn't contain actives, such as vitamin C or retinol, like other formulations on the market. It's also worth noting that Full Orbit is more lightweight compared to other eye creams.

This product is a great option for anyone who has sensitive skin and is looking to brighten their undereye area (or hydrate their eye area overall). At £28, the price point is also more affordable than other eye creams on the market.
