We love a bubble braid [1] at the best of times, but when it's nearly a metre long, embellished with jewels, and worn by none other than Griff, we're totally and utterly obsessed with it.

The British singer and winner of the BRIT Rising Star Award [2] stunned in not one but two beauty and outfit changes of the night. The first was a truly out-of-this-world look featuring lilac makeup, pastel nails, and an impressive crystal-embellished headpiece [3] for the red carpet. And the second was an incredible bubble braid for her live performance of "Black Hole". The look was courtesy of hairstylist Tomi Roppongi [4] who didn't share any of their secrets, but we can guess the super voluminous, rounded bubble braid was likely created using some sort of hair doughnuts and finished off with a long crystal fastened onto the top of Griff's hair and then threaded through the entire plait.
