Hailey Baldwin: model, BareMinerals brand ambassador, and source of damn good nail inspiration. Regarding the latter, she posted a photo of her new manicure, which featured a lavender-grey nail polish.
"Hand/mani cam," she captioned her Instagram Story. Baldwin appears to be wearing this year's most "soothing" trend: the "grey space" nail colour. According to Essie celebrity manicurist Michelle Saunders, the colour family is the new nude and can have an impact on how calm we feel.
"Grays are making a mark because they're a contemporary colour but also cosy, soothing, and serene," she said. "Gray signifies balance and serenity, and I think sometimes we forget how it feels to be still and neutral. Manicures are part of self-care and the perfect time to find a bit of peace; by choosing the 'grey space' theme, we can give ourselves a gentle reminder of this. Not only will this reflect on your nails but also in your overall appearance."
