Palette: Sunset

"I am not going to lie, I was so happy to see a peach, gold, and copper colour story in the Sunset palette. They are similar to other warm neutral colours I usually grab for any occasion, and I love a palette that offers me versatility. Sometimes eyeshadow palettes with over 10 colours can be overwhelming, especially when it comes to knowing which colour to start with. But there is something about these four earthy tones that gives one the freedom to be explorative and see the ways in which you can enhance your look.

"I jumped right in and blended in the shade Aperitif, which is a matte burnt-orange shade, into my crease. I then used the lovely coral pink shade (Sunkissed). I was afraid at first that the dusty tone would not have any colour payoff on my dark complexion, but it actually served as a gentle transition colour so that the burnt-orange shade was not so stark. I was very pleased to see how it was blending. Already in application, I noticed that the shades felt feather light and really easy to build on top of each other. For me, that is super important especially if I just need a little colour on my lids for a Zoom meeting and have little time.

"For the finale, I used my middle finger to blend in Happy Hour, which is a metallic copper colour but on the darker side, and its texture is very buttery. The shade made me gasp because of the foiled, reflective, and halo effect. I did not expect it at all. It really is so gorgeous as the metallics applied vibrantly. Sometimes my fear with foiled shadows is the fallout or it being hard to blend; that was not the case here.

"I am very into this palette because it's a one-stop shop to creating really magical and fun looks. It is wearable and offers shade ranges that I can wear every day." — Rachael Edwards, senior social coordinator

Palette: Fantasy

"The Fantasy palette could not have included a more perfect assortment of shades for me because I love to wear warm brown, pink, and neutral colours. Role Play is a metallic silvery-gold, Ultimate Pleasure is a shimmery soft gold-tan, Bondage is a matte red-brown, and Climax is a shimmery soft brown. All four have an intense colour payoff but blended easily with a brush. Because I really only put on eyeshadow for special occasions these days, I decided to use all four and am obsessed with how it turned out. I think I found my holiday eyeshadow look." — Jessica Harrington, associate editor, Beauty

Palette: Runway

"I enjoyed using the palette in Runway. The colorway I got is more spring/summer, but I enjoyed the pop of colour! I was hesitant that the shades might not show up on my skin tone, but when I swatched them, they truly were usable! The colours are vibrant, and the payoff is buildable yet decent. Fashion Baby (orange) ended up being a transition shade for me. Walk Walk (lime green) and Move That B*tch (pink) were vibrant but more on the buildable side. I had to layer and pack in colour to make it show true to the swatch. Work It (iridescent white) really stood out and popped like a true highlight. These are colours that I wouldn't wear every day, but I love that I can be creative with this palette and be more adventurous with my eyeshadow!" — Anvita Reddy, editorial coordinator, Shop

Palette: Poolside

"Blue eye shadow usually scares me, but this palette was incredibly easy to apply. The blendable colours in flattering shades of navy aren't intimidating at all. I'd even use the shimmery sapphire shade Deep Dive on its own for a cat eye or statement lid. I am definitely a blue-shadow convert now! Bonus points: the white sparkly hue is also the perfect inner-corner and brow-bone highlighter." — Macy Cate Williams, senior editor, Shop
