Huda Beauty, Kayali, and Wishful Skin Are Now Available at ASOS — Here Are Our Favourites

26/04/2021 - 02:40 PM

It's a great day for us beauty enthusiasts because Huda Kattan's three different beauty brands just landed on ASOS. That's right, you can now get your hands on the #FauxFilter Skin Finish Foundation Stick [1], the Wishful Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub [2], and the stunning Déjà Vu White Flower fragrance [3] even easier now. As of 26 April, Huda Beauty, Wishful Skin, and Kayali are all available to buy from ASOS. [4]

"It's official — I've launched on ASOS!" Kattan said in a press release. "I'm super excited that ASOS customers can now shop our all-time best-selling beauty faves. Keep your eyes peeled for plenty of selfie-worthy beauty hacks and a couple of special appearances from me, too." Kattan is at the forefront of the latest buzzy beauty trends, and is always the first to try out weird and wonderful beauty hacks that circulate TikTok and Instagram. Since launching Huda Beauty in 2011, she's built up a loyal Instagram following of over 48 million [5] people.

Huda Beauty, Wishful Skin, and Kayali join over 200 other beauty brands available on ASOS Face + Body, which has an impressive lineup of makeup, skin care, and hair care. If you needed an excuse to finally get ASOS Premium to make full use of that next-day delivery, this is it.

If you're not sure what to shop first, we've rounded up some of our favourites from the three brands ahead.

Huda Beauty Rose Gold Remastered Eyeshadow Palette

Huda Kattan's Huda Beauty Rose Gold Remastered Eyeshadow Palette [6] (£56) is so beautiful, we would honestly be content just staring at it. But that would be a waste of a very, very good eyeshadow palette. A reformulated version of the original rose-gold palette, the foil-like shadows along the top row are densely packed with both sparkles and pigment (this formula is truly unlike any other powder shadow on the market). The metallic shades are so finely milled they almost feel creamy to the touch, while the matte and pearl shades give you an opaque layer of colour with just one swipe of a brush or finger. And that's not even getting into the shade range, which includes a range of pink hues in a variety of finishes, a selection of neutral tones that can be worn every day — even to work — as well as the blackest black powder, which transforms into an inky liner when you apply it with a wet brush.

Huda Beauty Tantour

Available in six shades, the Huda Beauty Tantour [7] (£26) is one of the best cream bronzers on the market (makeup artist Nam Vo is a huge fan). It doubles as a contouring cream when used with a smaller brush.

Huda Beauty Legit Lashes Double-Ended Mascara

The Huda Beauty Legit Lashes Double-Ended Mascara [8] (£24) offers up two full-size mascaras in one diamond-shaped tube (no really, look down at the top of the tube and it's cut like a gem). The mascara took four years to develop, with much of that probably due to the fact that the product features two totally different mascara formulas and two totally different wand shapes. On one side, you have Curl & Length, which features a curved wand with nine rows of tiny, evenly spaced plastic bristles, while the thin, glossy formula includes five-millimetre lengthening fibres. On the other side, you have Volume, which features a slightly hourglass-shaped wand with longer "intertwined petal bristles", as the brand describes them, that travel all the way along the tip of the wand. Read our full review of the formula here [9].

Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick

Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick [10] (£18) has a creamy formula that is easy to apply and won't flake off in a matter of hours. The staying power is incredible, without the horrible dry feeling — no wonder it has solid five-star reviews. Plus, with 26 pretty hues, you'll have plenty of shades to choose from.

Wishful Thirst Trap Juice HA3 Peptide Serum

The Wishful Thirst Trap Juice HA3 Peptide Serum [11] (£41) is actually an amped-up version of the formula inside the brand's Thirst Trap Cocoon Mask. By adding three different types of hyaluronic acid (hence the HA3 in the product name) and a whole bunch of peptides (the short chains of amino acids in our skin that are responsible for its texture, strength, and resilience), the Thirst Trap formula is even more hydrating and skin-plumping, especially if you use it regularly, which in serum form is very easy to do.

Wishful Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub

When Kattan launched skin-care range Wishful [12] in January 2020, the debut product was the Wishful Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub [13] (£34), which is one part gentle scrub, one part chemical exfoliant. Made with a base of glycerin and almond oil, the formula breaks down dead skin cells on the surface both physically and chemically: with tiny granules made from cellulose floating around in the milky base, but also with AHAs, BHAs, and pineapple and papaya enzyme extracts in the formula. Massage it over your face and you'll be left with smoother, brighter-looking skin in minutes.

Wishful Get Even Rose Oil

The Wishful Get Even Rose Oil [14] (£55) contains — you guessed it — rose oil (rose-hip and damask-rose oils, to be exact). But Kattan didn't stop there. The sweet pink bottle also contains 13 other oils including carrot seed, baobab, raspberry seed, camellia, jojoba, rice bran, soybean, sunflower, and meadow foam, to name a few.

The result is an oil that not only hydrates and soothes the skin (two things that rose oil does really well), but it also helps make your skin look brighter and feel smoother. "I want my beauty products to work hard so I don't have to, which is why I hand-picked 15 of my favourite oils to create a unique blend that doesn't stop at just hydrating dry skin," Kattan said via press release of what she now calls her "magic oil."

Kayali Déjà Vu White Flower

Kayali is the brainchild of Mona and Huda Kattan and was born from their love of perfume. The scents, which are inspired by Middle Eastern fragrance culture, were created by the sisters along with French perfume house Firmenich. One of our favourite scents in the range is Kayali Déjà Vu White Flower [15] (£22), which is loaded with white florals, patchouli, and Tahitian vanilla to make it beautifully warm and intoxicating (and a perfect scent in the summer [16]). It also contains a 25 percent concentration of oil, meaning it's both powerful and long-lasting without being overwhelming.
