Huda Kattan Just Launched an Enzyme Scrub, and Damn, It Made My Skin Feel Smooth

Huda Kattan has said herself that she has the best skin of her life now after dealing with cystic acne and dry, uneven skin as a teenager. And thankfully, she's now sharing her life-changing secrets with the rest of us. The longtime beauty sensation and owner of Huda Beauty just launched her all-new skincare brand, Wishful, which according to a release, is "aimed at making skin dreams come true" with an assortment of clean, cruelty-free products that have been tried and tested by Kattan herself.
The first product to launch is the brand's Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub (£34), which is a pineapple and papaya enzyme-infused scrub designed to give you the glowiest skin of your life. The scrub has a lightweight, milky texture (thanks to glycerin and sweet almond oil) with the teeniest, tiniest granules floating around (made from cellulose) that very gently buff away dead skin cells. Additionally, the formula features a range of chemical exfoliators including AHAs, BHAs, and fruit extracts that get rid of impurities and dead skin cells — without any stinging or tingling — to ultimately reveal softer skin that makes applying foundation that much easier.
I gave the scrub a try right before a night out a few weeks ago and, not to be dramatic or anything, but I was genuinely shocked at how amazing it made my skin feel. My foundation applied much more seamlessly, and my skin instantly felt smoother.
When speaking with Allure, Kattan revealed that the name Wishful is inspired by the Arabic meaning of her sister's name, Mona, which means "wished for." And for Kattan's thousands and thousands of fans, the beauty entrepreneur's latest venture is truly that: a wish come true.
The Wishful Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub launched this week at shophudabeauty.com where it currently retails for $46 USD and is unfortunately already sold out. To buy it from a UK retailer, you'll have to wait until 18 Feb. when it becomes available at Harrods, Selfridges, cultbeauty.co.uk, FeelUnique, Net-A-Porter, and Boots.co.uk.
