Jennifer Coolidge shined bright at the 2023 Time100 Gala on 26 April. "The White Lotus [2]" star popped up at the event in New York City wearing a black beaded Balmain gown, sheer black gloves, and diamond chandelier earrings. Her hair was pulled into a messy, loose low bun with a face-framing curtain fringe [3], which is a big departure from her typical look of a middle parting with loose waves and lots of teasing at the roots.

Our eyes, however, were locked onto her "supermodel" nails [4]. Once the gloves (literally) came off, we got a good look at Coolidge's nude nails with silver detailing. The press-on nail set, which was created by celebrity nail artist Vanessa Sanchez McCullough [5], was applied by Aki Hirayama [6]. To create the design, McCullough used CND Shellac in Field Fox [7] (£21) and silver holographic glitter applied with a striping brush to the tip of each nail.

The "supermodel" nail trend, which has been worn by stars like Hailey Bieber [8], Florence Pugh, and even a few of our own editors [9], was first coined by celebrity manicurist Tom Bachik [10]. The look is categorised by a simple nude or sheer pink base colour and clean nail beds.
