If you thought the bob haircut craze was over, think again. On 22 Jan., Jennifer Lopez attended Schiaparelli's spring/summer 2024 haute couture show during Paris Fashion Week with a new shorter haircut in tow.

Though Lopez wore a jacket made entirely of miniature rosettes, her hair managed to be the star of the show. It's unclear whether her stylist Chris Appleton cut her real hair, it's a wig, or she's using the faux-tuck technique that stars like Zendaya have worn in the past, but the look is turning heads nonetheless.

Lopez's chin-length bob was combined with the wet trend, another award-season favourite. The technique makes your hair simultaneously look dripping wet and sculpted to perfection for a high-fashion, editorial feel. For the show, Lopez combed most of her hair back to create a slicked bob, save for two face-framing pieces at the front. The style is elegant and chic yet still trendy.

Over the past few months, bob haircuts have been spotted on several stars, from Lori Harvey to Hailey Bieber. As a result, fans have been re-creating their looks left and right. Lopez's blunt bob is just one way to wear the look; other variations include inverted bobs, layered bobs, and curly bobs, as seen on people like Beyoncé.
