I Can't Stop Thinking About J Lo Relentlessly Dragging Ben Affleck's Back Tattoo

Ben Affleck has long defended the massive phoenix tattoo taking up residence on his back — in fact, he insisted during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show back in 2019 that he loves it and the tattoo is "meaningful" to him — but we can tell you one person who's definitely not a fan: his new (old?) beau, Jennifer Lopez.

In case you haven't been keeping up, Affleck and Lopez dated back in 2002, but the duo recently rekindled their romance nearly two decades after their initial split in 2004. Fans of the couple on social media have obviously been living for the nostalgic turn of events and have even spent the last few weeks digging up old photos and videos of them. One of the more recent videos to resurface is of Lopez talking about how much she hates Affleck's tattoo during a 2016 interview on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live.

"It's awful!" she told host Andy Cohen during a game of Plead the Fifth. "I would tell him that! Like, what are you doing? It has too many colours. His tattoos always had too many colours. They shouldn't be so colourful, you know what I mean? They should be cooler."

Ah, there's nothing like being dragged by your ex-future-girlfriend on national television. It's possible Lopez has since changed her position on the tattoo after hearing Affleck's explanation on it during his Ellen interview. Their latest rendezvous through the South of France and Italy tells us that somehow, some way, just maybe she has.
