JLo Beauty was inspired by the multihyphenate star's long-term commitment to beauty and living a healthy lifestyle (along with Alex Rodriguez, but that's a whole other story). Lopez's signature glow is coveted by fans of all ages, us included — but it's been a long time in the making.
"I've been thinking about doing a skin-care line for the past 20 years," Lopez told a group of beauty editors over Zoom. "You just have to wait for the right time. I needed to become a bit more realised in myself to have a philosophy on a beauty company and what that means — beauty from the inside out, and the idea of beauty having no expiration date. JLo Beauty is about that and how can we make skin care beautiful, luxurious, fun, and still somewhat affordable for everyone? That was the philosophy behind it."
The official launch date of Lopez's namesake brand is exactly a month away for people living in the US, but for those of us across the pond, well, we might have to wait a little longer to get our hands on the products.
