Jojo Siwa, like Ariana Grande [3], is one of those stars that practically lives in one hairstyle. For Siwa, it's a straight, high side-ponytail [4] with a colour-coordinated hair bow. She wears this signature look [5] so often, we never really thought about what she would look like without it. But in a video posted on her TikTok, Siwa traded her famous ponytail and bow to show off her naturally curly blond hair. Who knew?

The rare glimpse at Siwa's hair texture occurred at the end of a TikTok where she wore different unique, colourful, and glittery outfits (very on-brand for her) before changing into a plain t-shirt and giving the camera a hair flip. The "historic moment," as some of her fans are calling it, has resulted in hundreds of reaction videos [6] of people who were just as surprised as we were to get a peak at her curly hair.

Siwa's iconic hair bow and ponytail look dates all the way back to 2015 (that we know of), when she appeared on Dance Moms as one of the cast members [7], along with Maddie Ziegler [8].
