Julia Louis-Dreyfus's Makeup Tutorial Comes With an Important, and Funny, PSA About COVID-19
Julia Louis-Dreyfus shared a playful PSA on her Instagram about staying home during the COVID-19 pandemic, while also shedding light on the importance of beauty industry professionals. Louis-Dreyfus, who's always one to lean into humour, can be seen in the video doing her own makeup haphazardly at her home vanity. "Normally, when I do a PSA like this, I have a hair and makeup team — a glam team, professional glam team — who can help me with my look," said Louis-Dreyfus, as she applied too much red lipstick.
The message was to encourage California residents to stay home and help flatten the curve of the virus. The state of California, like many others, has been under a stay-at-home order since March. With all nonessential businesses also ordered to close in the state, many beauty professionals, like hairstylists and makeup artists, are unable to work during this time.
