Katy Perry Ditches Her Pixie Cut For an Ultraglamorous Long Wig in the Prettiest Shade of Blonde
Katy Perry has long blonde hair now! We almost didn't recognise the singer with her new butter-hued hair. On Sunday, Perry posted a selfie wearing a voluminous, ashy-blonde wig with long layers and long, side-sweeping bangs. The American Idol judge captioned the Instagram post "if you don't love me at my pixie cut then you don't deserve me at my Goddess glow," signalling a temporary goodbye to her natural pixie cut. She also tagged hairstylist Jesus Guerrero, who is known for giving his celebrity clients (which include Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Chrissy Teigen to name a few) the long hair of their dreams.
This cool-toned, champagne blonde works beautifully with both Kerry's skin tone and similarly cool-toned pink shadow and lipstick. Slightly darker and ashier at the roots, there are icy threads running throughout the length, which help give the wig natural-looking dimension.
Perry is known for regularly switching up her hair. Two weeks ago, she tried a pretty peach bob on for size. And of course, her newest long blonde hue didn't stick around for long, before she swapped it in favour of a wavy lob. Here's hoping the ultraglamorous wig comes back to play very soon.
