Keke Palmer's New Mullet Haircut Is Giving Me Major Joan Jett Vibes
Keke Palmer is proving that, even as we press the reset button on a brand new year, we still haven't seen the last of the mullet haircut. The actress debuted a shaggy new hairstyle via Instagram on Tuesday and, we don't know about you, but it's giving us major rockstar energy. The look was cut and styled by hairstylist Ann Jones, who shared a similar video of the actress on Instagram.
Palmer joins an excess of other celebrities who have donned the mullet hairstyle in the last year. Troye Sivan showed off his new haircut via a series of Instagram selfies shared ahead of the release of his new visual with Kacey Musgraves, while Debby Ryan was also seen wearing the shaggy cut back in November. Palmer revealed the style in a selfie video where she's also seen wearing some smoky eye makeup. We're not sure if getting the cut was a personal choice or if the style was inspired by a project she might be working on, but either way we will say this: Joan Jett, eat your heart out.
