There are few things that beat the feeling of seeing real progress throughout your natural hair growth journey [2] — even Keke Palmer agrees. The actress recently tweeted a video of herself riding around in her car while happily showing off her hair growth [3] and singing along to her new single, "Thick."

"Hair is getting thick thick thick thick THICKKKK," she fittingly captioned the video. I don't know about you, but this is the daily dose of Black girl joy I needed.

This isn't the first time Palmer has used social media to update fans on her natural journey. Last year, she posted an Instagram video [4] of herself excitedly shaking her hair around after leaving a hair appointment. She also took a moment to praise the organic products [5] that kept her hair healthy since she did a big chop two years prior. "But the gaaaaaag is, #STIFFWHERE?!?!" she captioned it.
