Kelly Ripa Said Ryan Seacrest's Hair Looks Like the Heat Miser's, and She Might Have a Point

Ryan Seacrest isn't looking much like his old self these days. In fact, if you ask Kelly Ripa, she'll tell you that her Live With Kelly and Ryan cohost is bearing a strong resemblance to an unlikely animated character: the Heat Miser from The Year Without a Santa Claus.

On April 30, Ripa took to Instagram to share a side-by-side image of Seacrest and the Christmas movie villain sporting a very similar spiked hairstyle alongside the caption, "I rest my case. #heatmiser vs. @ryanseacrest." We hate to say it, but she might be onto something.

The photo of Seacrest was taken during an earlier broadcast of the duo's daytime talk show, which they're both currently filming from home now that most studios are closed to slow the spread of COVID-19. During the broadcast, both hosts got a few at-home haircut tips from New York City-based hairstylist Xavier Cruz, who taught them how to cut hair using kitchen scissors via FaceTime.

In a video, Ripa, who revealed last week that she had already resorted to cutting her hair with kitchen scissors, demonstrated the tips on her 22-year-old son, Michael, while Seacrest demonstrated on himself. Check out the full segment below.
