Kerry Washington's Biden-Harris Nail Art on Inauguration Day
Kerry Washington Celebrated the Inauguration With a Very Patriotic Manicure
Kerry Washington put on her best suit to attend President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris's inauguration celebration on Wednesday night, and she wore the most patriotic manicure to match. The Little Fires Everywhere actress wore a black, blue, and camel Autumn Adeigbo pantsuit to celebrate the occasion, and on her nails, she sported the Biden-Harris campaign logo.
Washington's nail art was designed by nail artist Kim Truong, who's also worked with celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, and Jennifer Aniston. For Washington's nails, Truong painted each finger with a deep red base and added red, white, and blue stars to both of her middle fingers. She then painted the Biden-Harris logo on her ring fingers, separating both last names between each finger.
Washington has been a proud supporter of the new president and VP since they officially received the democratic nomination last summer, so while we can't say that her Scandal character, Olivia Pope, would've worn something just as celebratory, we think this nail art makes a lot of sense in her case.
