Kardashian didn't permanently chop her long brown waves for the editorial spread — rather, hairstylist Matt Benns fit a closely cropped wig over her scalp, making her look like a completely different person. Makeup artist Yadim Carranza put the finishing touches on Kardashian's dramatic look, giving her thin '90s-inspired eyebrows and glossy lids.
Kardashian's CR Fashion Book shoot was part of the publication's 10th anniversary feature focusing on muses. In the accompanying interview, she shared her thoughts on what it means to be an icon.
