Kim Kardashian and North West Wear Mother-Daughter Nose Rings in Paris
Kim Kardashian and North West hit mother-daughter fashion right on the nose. As part of Haute Couture Week in Paris, the two wore matching nose rings to the Jean Paul Gaultier show, both decked out in (presumably temporary) silver hoops with connecting silver chains.
Kardashian's faux nose piercing connected to a stacked silver choker (which matched the silver cuff bracelets she wore on both wrists), while West's nose piercing attached to her earring. Though it's unclear who came up with the idea for the nose rings, West has worn one before at her great-grandma's 85th birthday party. These new accessories might just be Kardashian's interpretation of West's punk-rock sense of style.
The mother-daughter duo coordinated the rest of their outfits as well, with Kardashian dressed in a cinched pinstriped dress and West in a matching striped set, complete with a button-down vest, beret, and tie. To finish off their high-fashion looks, they wore identical round sunglasses with blackout lenses, appearing edgy and borderline futuristic. Kris Jenner ended up joining them, too, also wearing stripes, dark glasses, and a dark suit with impressive shoulder pads, but evidently, she'd left her nose ring at the hotel.
Moments before this look, Kardashian strutted the catwalk for the first time at the Balenciaga show; she became the face of the label back in February, walking alongside celebrities like Dua Lipa and "Selling Sunset"'s Christine Quinn. While her daughter watched the show from the audience, West is growing to become a fashion icon of her own, most recently rocking a vintage jacket from her father, Kanye West. With such influential parents and constant inspiration all around her, we wonder if West will have a collection of her own to debut in Paris one day.
