If you spent the first few weeks of staying home wearing no makeup, hair in a messy bun, in your comfiest sweats — save for a different top during meetings so you look like you have it together from the waist up — you might be ready for a bit more structure in your life. Enter: a quick, minimal makeup routine that you can wrap up five minutes before hopping in a virtual meeting with colleagues or friends.
Kardashian's contour routine requires no foundation or concealer — just the KKW Beauty Crème Contour & Highlight Set ($32), which she used in the medium and dark shade sets, and Concealer Brush II ($18).
First, Kardashian prepped with a moisturiser before going in with the matte highlighter side of the medium Crème Contour & Highlight Set to conceal under her eyes, between her eyebrows, and around her nose. She then used the lighter contour side of the medium set to contour her nose and the darker end of that same stick to contour her cheeks, along her hairline, and down her jawline — making the signature 3-shape on each side of her face.
Using the Concealer Brush II, Kardashian buffed the contour out in circular motions with the brush side before switching to the sponge end (which she wet) to blend out the highlighter. But she didn't stop there — using the dark kit, she did a quick eye-makeup look by lining her eyes and using the contour stick as shadow. With the shimmery side of the highlighter stick, she highlighted down the centre of her nose, cheekbones, cupid's bow, inner corners of her eyes, brow bone, and collarbones. As a last step, she applied a little translucent powder to reduce shine.
While it might seem complicated, the whole thing only took her a little over four minutes from start to finish. That's the perfect amount of time for an at-home makeup routine.
