"We stan a beauty icon," one fan commented during Mikaela Straus's (or as most people know her, King Princess) recent Instagram Live. The singer went onto the social media platform to showcase some of the makeup she will be using on her upcoming Cheap Queen tour, and they were a plenty.
King Princess first introduced the bevy of products on her Instagram stories: "I could cry," she said to the pile of makeup in front of her. "She's a woman now." She then broke down each one on Instagram Live, highlighting products from four makeup brands in the Live video: MAC, Urban Decay, Kevyn Aucoin, and Kosas. From MAC, she points to two pots of Glitter ($25) (in red and blue) and different shades of Eye Shadow ($25) from the brand. She also shouts out one pink MAC Powder Blush ($25) that made her say, "Whoa."
She then began to excitedly play with the sword-shaped brushes in Urban Decay's Game of Thrones collection that came out earlier. "This is so fierce," she said as she held up the eye shadow brush that was made to look like John Snow's sword.
Lastly, she mentions the Kevyn Aucoin Glass Glow Highlighter ($32) and Kosas 10-Second Eye Shadow ($28). She admitted toward the end of the video that she may not be a pro at makeup, but like her fans, we're excited to see more from this beauty icon. Check out her makeup picks, ahead.
