Lizzo’s Halloween Nail Art Is Both Spooky and Cute, and We're Taking Notes
There are many ways to take the symbols that are quintessential to Halloween (like cobwebs and black cats) and turn them into eye-catching nail art; but if you're looking for something that is equal parts creepy and cute, you'll love Lizzo's latest look.
Manicurist Eri Ishizu posted close-up photos of Lizzo's manicure on her Instagram. It featured a red drip design and handpainted hearts on top of a pale pink base. Ishizu dubbed the look a "spooky drip," and we get why. The red nail polish colour she chose made the drip design look like the many "blood" nail art looks that have been emerging this Halloween season.
While drip nail art isn't new, it has experienced a resurgence this year after Kylie Jenner debuted her neon version of the trend. Lizzo's iteration, however, takes the age-old manicure and gives it a spin that is perfect for Halloween. Check it out ahead.
