It looks like Hollywood's latest it haircut is the bob [2]. Hailey Bieber [3], Lily Allen [4], and now Lizzo all recently debuted the short style for 2023 [5]. Lizzo shared a carousel of selfies that she snapped in the car with the caption, "TS GIVING BOBBIANA💇🏽." In the photos, the singer's new, shoulder-length hair is visible. The new look also features her classic black colour with the addition of blonde highlights and a wispy fringe that framed her face perfectly.
This isn't the first time Lizzo has worn a bob haircut, however, last time, she experienced some haircut grief after the fact. Back in June 2021, the "Special" singer showed off the style in a TikTok video using the self-deprecating "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" audio in the background. We've all been there — who among us hasn't regretted a dramatic haircut after the fact? It's the natural cycle of things, but we, for one, love this hairstyle on her.
Lizzo is used to experimenting with her hair colour [6] and length through wigs, but she doesn't often wear short styles like this. Check out both of the haircuts ahead.
