There was a lot happening during the "Love Island" final: reminiscing on journeys in the villa, googling Laura Whitmore's outfit, and aggressively refreshing Twitter before Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu and Davide Sanclimenti were crowned 2022's winners. Because of that, we'll forgive you for not noticing the teeny-tiny details on the Islanders' nails that expertly complemented their outfits. But you better be paying attention now, because these sets are bound to be the hottest end-of-summer inspiration for all of us nail-lovers.

Bristol-based manicurist Ella Bella Nails was the brains behind this year's nail art, giving Cülcüloglui, Tasha Ghouri, Indiyah Polack, Gemma Owen, and Dami Hope (yes, Dami) the best sets of the summer to see out their last night in style.

We were thrilled to see Hope sporting a negative-space Comme des Garçons-inspired (or should we say Croc Jibbitz-inspired) manicure, further proving that manicures and nail art have never been reserved for just women. We like to think that Polack played her part in his look after playing beauty salon (nope, not that salon!) by painting nails. Hope also got his practice in by giving Polack a pedicure during their time in the villa — and doing a pretty good job at it, too.

Get a close look at all of the Islanders' last manicures in the villa, sporting trends like the "clean girl" aesthetic and the double french manicure and even using trendy treatments like builder in a bottle. Summer nail-art inspiration coming your way . . .
