Winter "Love Island" has already had an explosive first week. Since returning to our screens on 16 Jan., we've seen kisses, rows, and bombshells causing havoc amongst the "Love Island" cast. While you've likely been keeping your eyes peeled on who is pulling who for chats, or making notes of which eBay outfits the Islanders have been wearing, there is one detail you're likely to have missed: Will Young's nails.

Before entering the villa, all of the hopeful singletons get a little TLC. Celebrity nail artist Ella Jarvis, of Ella Bella's Nails, is responsible for creating the "Love Island" nails, and gave followers a cheeky insight into the designs she produced before they made their way into the South African villa. While she gave Olivia Hawkins marble tips and Tanyel Revan a high shine mani, it was farmer Will whose nails take the top spot thanks to a cute nod to his babies (aka his TikTok-famous sheep.) On the middle nail on each hand is a negative-space creation showing a sheep and pig face, and we can't deal with the sweet beauty detail.

"I pretty much instantly suggested the farm animals and he said yes straight away, and that he was actually going to suggest it anyway!" Jarvis tells POPSUGAR. "He wanted to break the stigma on men's nails, it's a good way to create a talking point." He's not the only Islander to have donned a MANicure either. Last year's finalist Dami Hope, who is still in a couple with Indiyah Polack, was given some heart nail art for the final episode of the 2022 series.

For Will the farmer's nail art, Jarvis used The GelBottle products and finished the mani off with Peacci brand cuticle oil. "We were just going to do sheep and then he mentioned his pet pigs so we decided to do one of each," she says. While Will has spoken of the manual labour he endures on the farm, you might be thinking his hands needed a lot of work to get TV-ready, but surprisingly this wasn't the case. "Will's hands weren't bad at all considering he works on the farm!" Jarvis adds.

While Will clearly takes care of his appearance and isn't afraid to push the boundaries of beauty to prove that manicures aren't just reserved for women, he is currently single in the villa. Here's hoping his nails help attract an un-baa-lieveable match. See a closeup of his mani below.
