Have you heard? The summer's coolest beauty trend [2] has nothing to do with a haircut or colour, new makeup technique, or skin-care innovation, and everything to do with your eyebrows. Specifically, bleaching them, and Katy Perry [3], Kim Kardashian [4], and now, Maisie Williams, are currently leading the charge.
Williams, who has historically left her thick brows a dark brown colour even when dyeing the hair on her head a bright blond hue, showed off her new look most recently at the 2021 BRIT Awards [5] when she took to the stage to present the Global Icon award. Her seemingly invisible eyebrows were complemented by a super natural no-makeup look and her piece-y bangs, which hung down from the messy bun piled on top of her head, framed them like a work of art.
This is all to say our suspicions have been proven true: Williams can, in fact, pull off anything.
