Maya Jama Joins Val Garland and Dom Skinner as the New Glow Up Host

There's a new glam host of the BBC's Glow Up, and it's none other than TV presenter Maya Jama.

On 14 Jan., Jama confirmed on social media that she'll be the host of Glow Up's third series, which follows a group of budding makeup artists who are competing in a series of makeup challenges in a bid to impress iconic makeup artist judges Val Garland and Dominic Skinner and be crowned the winner.

"THE SECRET IS OUT🤪🥳 I am over the moon to be hosting the New series of @glowupbbc !!," Jama posted on Instagram about the announcement. "Following in the footsteps of my babes and absolute icon @sjdooley i know they are big boots to fill so I hope I do you proud 💪🏽 you lot already know how much I love serving looks.. BRING ON THE GLAMMMM 💁🏽‍♀️💁🏽‍♀️💁🏽‍♀️," she added.

Judges Garland and Skinner are thrilled the have Jama on their team, commenting on her Instagram post, "Welcome darling, this is going to be so much fun 💋💋💋💋💋😍" and "Welcome to our Glow Up Gang!!🙌 It's all Glitter, Gloss & Gossip😉😂" respectively.

Jama joins the cast following in Stacey Dooley's footsteps. The TV presenter and documentarian hosted the previous two seasons of the show and announced that she left the show because of hosting commitments for the BBC series This Is MY House.

Glow Up season three returns later this year, but no set date has been confirmed yet. Seasons one and two of the show are available now on the BBC iPlayer.
