So far, 2022 is going according to (someone's) plan: Megan Fox [2] and Machine Gun Kelly announced they're engaged as of 11 Jan. The couple, who have been dating since 2020, disclosed the news on Instagram with a close-up video of Fox's custom diamond and emerald engagement ring [3] and her silver french manicure [4] to match.
Fox's engagement nails gave an elevated twist to a classic. Metallic silver nail polish replaced the traditional white tip of the french manicure, and her nails were groomed in a pointed almond shape. Manicures and over-the-top nail art have been a primary detail in Fox and Kelly's love story. The lovebirds have had their fair share of coordinated manicure moments on the red carpet [5] and even chained themselves together [6] by their nails for the launch of Kelly's nail-polish brand, UN/DN LAQR.
